Reservations
To ensure the highest quality of service to customers, reservations made 24 hours in advance are recommended.
Effective April 5, 2010
Reservation Procedures
Mon - Fri- All transportation between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. must make reservations prior to 5:00 p.m.
There will not be any dispatchers on duty after 5:00 p.m.
Saturday- All requests for Saturday transportation must be made prior to 5:00 p.m. on the Friday before
There will not be any dispatchers on duty on Saturdays.
We can not accept cancellations or reservations via e-mail at this time.
General Directions
1. CONTACT BENZIE BUS- Be sure to make your request as soon as possible to ensure timeliness of your pick up.
2. BE PREPARED- Be ready for your pickup a few minutes ahead of time and have your personal items ready to go (jacket/bag/wallet/purse).
3. BOARD THE BUS- Stay away from the bus until it makes a complete stop. When stepping onto the bus, use the handrail and watch for slippery stairs.
4. PAY YOUR FARE- Be ready to pay the bus driver your required fare when you get on the bus. If you have a discount card, have it ready for the driver.
5. ENJOY THE RIDE- Select your seat and secure your seatbelt. Do not stand while the bus is in motion and follow all rules for riding the bus.
6. EXIT THE BUS- Be prepared to get off the bus as you approach your stop. Use the handrails to help yourself down the steps, and be sure to step away from the bus and wait until it leaves before crossing the street.

1. Locate your pick-up location- Determine your zone color
2. Locate your destination location- Determine the zone color.
3. Call Dispatch @ 231-325-3000 ext. 1, at least 24 hours in advance to schedule your ride.
Scheduling Directions
To schedule your ride, you will need to tell the Dispatcher:
1. Date
2. Pick-up Address
3. Destination Address.
4. Time you need to arrive at your destination.
5. If you require a vehicle with either a lift or bike rack.
