Benzie Bus offers curb to curb reserved ride service with advanced reservations. Reservation requests should be made at least one hour ahead of time. ADA cardholders and seniors 60 and older will be given first priority for ride service.
To reserve a ride: call to speak with a Dispatcher at 231-325-3000 option 1, text 231-325-3000, email dispatch@benziebus.com or request your trip via the Ecolane app. Reservations must be made at least one hour in advance. You will be given a 20 minute window in which to expect your bus. You must be ready to board the bus at the beginning of this window. Once the bus arrives, it will wait a maximum of 3 minutes for you to board. For your convenience, you may download the Ecolane App to view real time location of your bus. You may also opt in to have text notifications of when to expect the arrival of your bus.
We require no less than one hour in advance for cancelling a ride. If a ride is cancelled less than one hour in advance, the rider will be charged a No Show fee which will be equivalent to double the original fare.
Please be prepared to board the bus upon arrival at your location. The bus will wait up to 3 minutes before departing for its next stop, at which point the rider will be charged the No Show fee
