ALL passengers of the Benzie Bus must pay their fare when boarding. Charges, or any other arrangement to pay later, will not be allowed. Benzie Bus offers half-price fares for seniors (age 60+), persons with disabilities, veterans, and students; children 5 or younger ride free with an adult.
If you cannot afford the fare to ride the Benzie Bus, please consider these options:
Buy a virtual “GO!PASS" from Benzie Bus and ride for 31 days at one fare. Call (231) 325-3000 for more details.
Ask your employer if they have an employee assistance program.

We do accept:
Regular Fare for the general public in county- $3.00.
31 day GO!PASS is available for $70.
Children 12 and under, students, Seniors (60+), Persons with Disabilities- $1.50 each way.
31 day GO!PASS available for $35.
Airport Service $35.00- One way direct transportation to or from Traverse City or Manistee Airports.
Must be booked 14 days ahead and is non-refundable.

Saturday – 6:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. (Call Center Hours 7:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.)

Veterans and persons with disabilities may apply for Reduced Fares by completing the appropriate application, which can be obtained from any of our drivers at our office, or you may download it here. Please note that a portion of the application must also be completed and signed by a medical professional. The completed form can be given to a driver or dropped off at our office. Once your application is approved a letter will be mailed to you and then you are eligible for Reduced Fare.
*Please note that Seniors and Children 12 and Under do not need to complete the Special Services Application to qualify for Reduced Fares.

The GO!PASS offers passengers the ability to utilize our services unlimited during the 31 day period. The GO!PASS is only valid for one person and is not-transferrable.
